Charles Ferreira Jr. has been a licensed building contractor in the State of California since 1973. From 1973 and
into 1976, the main activities for his company were in the rough carpentry phase of the building industry. Charles Ferreira
worked in the field with his tools, framing many commercial and residential projects in the Central San Joaquin Valley.
In 1976, Charles was hired by one of his commercial customers to supervise construction of a 10,000 square foot office
complex. This venture was successful and led to an 11-year association with this development company. During his tenure at
this position, Charles assumed complete control of construction from raw land through turnkey and punch list completions.
His duties included supervision of the curb, gutter, sidewalk, and street construction, underground utility improvements,
working with PG&E, Pacific Bell, Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control, Valley Cable providers, San Joaquin Air Pollution
Control, City and County Building Departments in various municipalities in the State of California.
Prior to being
licensed, Charles operated heavy equipment in the construction of dams, roads and storm drain conduit, poured and finished
concrete including concrete headwalls and drain inlets. He also built structural frames with wood, masonry and red iron, installed
tile, composition and shake roofing, hung and finished drywall, worked as a plumber, installed exterior lath and did a lot
of finish carpentry doors & cabinetry.
This experience enables Charles to intelligently communicate with workers
and sub-contractors associated with the construction of his projects.
It has been proven the most efficient tools
are designed with simplicity having a minimal amount of moving parts. This is the basis of Charles Ferreira's success with
customers, subcontractors and suppliers. When dealing with this company there are few communication errors and no fall guys.
Charles Ferreira controls general required costs, necessary specifications, purchasing, layout, instruction and coordination
of installation for all components. With his understanding and dedication to the industry and the fact that he has physically
participated in many of the construction procedures and handling of products for the past 40 years, the monetary and
time line overages are cut to a minimum. There are no 8 to 5 nameless employee's in charge on any of our projects.
